Shout out against sexual assault

Sexual violence against students in the form of sexual assault or harrassment exists on college campuses nationwide and often times alters educational oppurtunities. Keene State College is committed to educating the campus about sexual violence, preventing future violcence and harrassment, and supporting victims/survivors of sexual violence. The college's Sexual Violence Prevention and Educations Program have joined together to raise awareness on campus through the Shout Out Against Sexual Assaul and other activities. Keene State College welcomes Dr. Ferber

The proferrsor of English and the Humanities at the University of New Hampshire, Dr. Michael Ferber has been teaching since 1987. He has a B.A. in Greek and a Ph.D. in English from Harward University. He hs written books, speeches and articles on war and peace. The talent I have seen in his writing is shown in his two books about William Blake, one about Percy Shelley, a Dictionary of Literary Symbols, the anthology European Romantic Poetry, and the Blackwell Companion to European Romanticism. I am a true believe that things happen for a reason. The reasons for people becoming addicted to drugs or alcohol is normally because of something that happened in their life that they are incapable of dealing with on their own. Drugs become an escape for that person andused to help hinder their problems. Luckily, there is help for those struggling with this. With all the stresses college students face when balancing college life it is easy to fall into problems with drpression, alcohol, and eating disorders. The Keene State College Student Counseling Center introduces a free and anonymous screening available to all KSC students. The survery only takes a few minutes informs you whether professional consultation would be helpful to you. A chance to show your supports for thse suffering

"Walk a Mile in her Shoes" is a great way for people to become involved and show support for vistims suffering from sexual harrassment and assault. The walk this year took place in April at Keene State College, where hundreds of people gathered together to walk form the Young Student Center around Main St. Men even wore woman's shoes as a dign of respect for the victims.
